Congratulations on your choice of law as a career. Whether
it is in practice or as background for other careers, a law degree provides a unique
framework of preparation.
I appreciate your interest in pursuing your study of law at Nashville School of
Law. During its ninety-six years of existence, our 2,970 plus graduates have taken
places of leadership in government, business and industry, banking, the legal profession
and the administration of justice across the state of Tennessee.
We provide our diverse and highly motivated student body with an outstanding legal
education. The School has a talented faculty of men and women who were educated
at leading law schools, including NSL, and who teach our students to become ethical
and proficient lawyers. Our faculty knows first hand about the practice of law--they
are all practicing attorneys and judges. Our students benefit greatly from their
practical knowledge and expertise.
These are exciting times at Nashville School of Law. Our enrollment has doubled
over the past four years and we moved into our new state-of-art facility in the
fall of 2005.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to our law students. We will do all that we
can to help you succeed in the study of law and in your later career. Your success
is our greatest wish.
In these pages you will come to know a lot about our law school. We hope you will
join us in the fascinating and challenging study of law.
Sincerely,
Joe C. Loser, Jr.
